Asian Cup Qualifying

China’s roster was announced today for the Asian Cup (see here ), what are your thoughts about it? Who would you have liked to see included? What do you think are China’s chances of advancing from this difficult group?

I think Du Wei, Yang Zhi, and Zhang Chengdong should’ve been called up. Maybe give Chen Zhizhao a try?

I don’t know about Chen, but it would be interesting to at least see what he could do in camp. I’m sure Camacho hasn’t even bothered to look at him, it doesn’t seem like Camacho spends time looking at players from anywhere other than Evergrande. I would have really liked to see Piao Cheng, who I mentioned in the article, finally get a look at. I also think Tang Miao at R&F really deserves one.
