Tragedy in Qingdao as Hainiu midfielder Goran Gogic dies at 29
The Chinese football world is in shock following the sudden death of Qingdao Hainiu midfielder Goran Gogic. The 29-year-old Serbian midfielder collapsed at the end of a training session and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Tragically, medical staff were unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead at 22:25.
Gogic signed for Hainiu from Red Star Belgrade in February of this year. He appeared in all fifteen of Hainiu’s league games this season and played the full 90 minutes against Wuhan Zall this past weekend.
