Guangzhou R&F and Hebei kicked off this weeks CSL action on Friday with the home side looking to take all 3 points after last weeks disappointing 3-0  loss to Shandong Luneng. The game started fairly even with both sides creating good chances from the start, the first big opportunity of the game fell to home side when Lavezzi strike was saved by goalkeeper Cheng Yuelei. Then in the 30th minute Brazillian Júnior Urso dispossessed the home side deep in their half but decided to take the early shot which was saved, keeping the score level at half time. Throughout the second half both sides continued to create goal scoring opportunities with some attractive football being played but both goalkeepers made a number of good saves that helped keep the game goalless. Then in the 85th minute Lavezzi picked the ball up out wide and started to dribble towards goal evading three defenders in the process, his strike then guided the ball into the bottom corner and make the score 0-1.  Seconds later the home side replied when Joo-Young Kim failed clearance drop to Li Tixiang on the edge of  the box, Tixiang first time strike was then met by Zahavi and his slightest of touches was enough to beat the goalkeeper to make the final sore 1-1.

Liaoning Kaixin  2 – 1 Chongqing Dangdai Lifan

The away side started better in the second half  and scored in the 59th minute when Peng Xinli pass cut though the home sides defences and fell to Ding Jie who struck the ball across the goalkeeper into the corner, making the score 1-1.  The home side almost reacted straight away as a mistake in midfield allowed them to counter attack with two players on two but when Ujah finally attempted to shoot he got tackled, the ball did roll past the goalkeeper but Milović cleared the ball of the line. Chamanga then won his side a penalty in the 70 minute but it should have been a free kick as foul didn’t happen in the area, however Chamanga stepped up and made no mistake with the penalty and secured all 3 points for his team.

Just before half time the home side got the chance to level the score but Ideye came up short.
